About Ride To Pride
Founded in 1997 by Greg & Lorraine Esquibel, Ride To Pride began with a strong passion and dedication to using horses to help troubled kids.

"She was one these kids that we're helping today...", Greg says of his wife Lorraine. "She grew  up in California and had every material thing a child could want--she also had a very dysfunctional family". Unable to tolerate the abuse any longer, Lorraine ran away from home when she was 14 and ended up in the foster care system. "Some of the foster homes weren't any better than my own home. I was never offered any type of counseling and I was always scared because I felt really alone and I never knew what to expect next".  Greg and Lorraine compliment each other in many ways. "He has an amazing gift in being able to work with troubled kids and horses", says Lorraine. Greg was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico. "His father was a well respected citizen with strong family values that have been instilled and carried forward right into Ride To Pride".

Serving over 300 kids and their families at any given time, the Ride To Pride staff possess a strong commitment to their work and to the mission of the organization, thanks to a little help from our friends.
